Even more cordless freedom: Battery technology revolutionizes cleaning equipment
More battery, more cordless freedom, more Power X-Change: Einhell has been the leading supplier of battery technology for the DIY and garden tool sector for many years already. Its market leadership in the cordless garden tool segment, along with many consumer test wins, reflect the bundled battery expertise and the success of the manufacturer of equipment for the workshop and garden. The German company now also offers a comprehensive range of battery-operated cleaning equipment – and it will continue to expand the product range in the future with many innovative solutions for cleaning outside and inside the house.
One battery for DIY, gardening and cleaning
Power X-Change has been the most professional battery platform for tools and garden equipment for years. Many consumer test wins and the company’s market leadership in the cordless garden tool segment confirm the success of its strategy. “We are now running an innovation campaign to broaden this product range to include cleaning equipment. With just one battery, Einhell customers can now do DIY, work in the garden or clean the house inside and out,” explains Andreas Kroiss, CEO of Einhell Germany AG.
The right cleaning equipment for every requirement
Einhell has already developed a comprehensive range of cordless cleaning products. They include battery-operated wet & dry vacs with different performance specifications and applications, patio cleaners, a surface brush, a handheld vacuum cleaner, a stick vacuum cleaner, an ash vac, a push sweeper, and a workshop blower That gives all customers of the platform the freedom of cordless operation when it comes to cleaning as well.
The latest member of the cordless cleaning equipment family is the TP-VC 36/30 S Auto wet & dry vac, which is available in retail stores as of now. The USP of the wet & dry vac is that it connects to the tool by means of a transmitter on the suction hose, enabling automatic vacuuming with cordless devices. Thanks to the “auto start” function, the vac starts and stops automatically just moments after the tool connected to it does. With up to 150 mbar of suction power, the top model also ensures reliably professional cleaning results. The cordless vac has an ECO mode for maximum battery life and a BOOST mode for the greatest possible suction power. The stainless steel collecting container, which holds up to 30 liters of liquid, can be emptied easily through the water drain screw. There is a practical blow connector for blow-cleaning hard-to-reach areas such as corners and behind radiators. The integrated tool mount keeps things tidy, while large wheels and casters ensure mobile use and easy transport. The scope of supply includes a stainless steel telescopic tube, a 2.5-meter long suction hose, a large combination nozzle for carpets and smooth surfaces, as well as various filters.
“It makes sense to shift to battery-operated equipment for cleaning jobs especially, as the absence of a cable makes the job safer and much more flexible. All products of our Power X-Change platform can be operated using the same battery. Dispensing with different batteries and chargers not only protects the environment, but is also easy on the wallet,” says Einhell CEO Kroiss.
