Einhell expands its Power X-Change range with a powerful deep-cutting cordless planer
Shaping chamfers, recesses and planes – The TP-PL 18/3 Li BL Professional Cordless Planer from Einhell ensures smooth, even surfaces and can even be used to work on edges. The powerful 18-volt planer is equipped with a 3-mm cutting depth, a parallel guide for straight, precise cuts, a rebate depth stop for making recesses with ease and a selectable two-sided chip ejector. The PurePOWER brushless motor delivers the necessary power and long running times. As part of the high performance Power X-Change family, it is compatible with all the chargers and batteries on the battery platform.
Efficient work and mobile comfort
For shortening dragging doors, chamfering roof beams or simply planing rough wood surfaces smooth, the TP-PL 18/3 Li BL Cordless Planer offers a wide range of applications in the workshop, at home or at the building site. Where hand tools were once used, a cordless planer can now be used to make work much easier and more efficient. Thanks to cordless freedom, it can be used flexibly without relying on a power source. The planer is driven by the Einhell PurePOWER Brushless Motor. The brushless motor provides more power and runs longer than conventional carbon brush motors.
The high quality, solid aluminum base plate ensures smooth work results and high stability during planing work. The base plate is equipped with three V-shaped grooves to make chamfering edges easy, thus offering numerous options for use. The cutting depth can be adjusted easily and precisely to up to three millimeters, which makes it possible to work extremely accurately and ensures that materials can be removed quickly and efficiently. The maximum planing width is 82 millimeters and the rebate depth can be adjusted to up to 25 millimeters.
Where a plane is used, chips are produced
An automatic parking soleplate protects both the workpiece and the planer blades from damage and ensures safe handling of the tool. The parallel guide enables you to do straight, precise planing work and ensures accurate results. The rebate depth stop facilitates the creation of recesses and expands the options for use of the hand-held plane. The ergonomic handle with its Softgrip surface makes the cordless planer extremely comfortable to handle.
The chip ejector can be mounted on two sides, affording flexible working possibilities. In addition, a 36-millimeter diameter suction adapter can be connected to it, which works with any suitable Einhell wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Besides the parallel guide, two durable TCT planer blades (reversible blades) are also supplied.
Power X-Change: The right tool for every application
The TP-PL 18/3 Li BL Cordless Planer is part of the Einhell Power X-Change platform, which now features more than 300 tools for the home and garden. What makes these tools so special is that all the devices can be operated with just one type of battery (18 V). That saves you money and protects the environment. But there’s more: The platform is to be expanded to as many as 450 tools by 2027.
