There's a new arrival in Einhell’s product range: As a heavy-duty member of the Power X-Change battery platform, the new 36 V TE-SM 36/10 L Li cordless sliding crosscut miter saw is the perfect addition to the workshop equipment of every DIYer and proves to be an indispensable partner for the meticulous execution of precision cuts. The saw is used for a variety of woodworking jobs, such as cutting miters, crosscutting strips of wood and shortening parquet. Thanks to cordless battery power, there is no need for a socket outlet or extension cable, enabling it to be used both in the workshop and on a construction site or in the garden.
Many different cutting options for every application
A sliding crosscut miter saw is extremely useful in woodworking jobs requiring precision cutting, particularly miter cuts and crosscuts. That makes it ideally suited for projects such as building shelves, laying skirting boards, and cutting picture frames and items of furniture to size. To achieve the angles most commonly required in classic DIY jobs, the Power X-Change TE-SM 36/10 L Li cordless sliding crosscut miter saw comes with a high-quality die cast aluminum turntable with precise locking positions. The motor head can also be tilted continuously to the left, enabling the saw to be set at crosscut angles of up to 45 degrees. This allows many different cutting options for every application. In addition, it is equipped with a smooth slide function which is also suitable for wider workpieces. The X-Tend workpiece supports with end stop, which provide support for single and repeat cuts of longer pieces of wood, can be adjusted to the left and right by one hand without the need for tools. A robust clamping device is provided for fixing the workpiece firmly in position.
The powerful saw comes with a high-quality, carbide-coated precision saw blade that delivers a fine cut profile. The maximum cutting width is 340 millimeters, the maximum cutting height 85 millimeters. The cutting line laser, an easy-to-read angle scale, and the depth stop ensure that cuts are made to the precise orientation and depth, significantly improving user friendliness and the quality of results. The LED light provides optimum illumination of the working area, making it easy to achieve the perfect angle or cut a groove. The cordless sliding crosscut miter saw also comes with a chip bag and an adapter for an extractor so that the workplace can be kept clean at all times.
The Power X-Change battery platform
As part of the Power X-Change battery platform, the sliding crosscut miter saw is compatible with all 18 V batteries across the system. If there is already a battery in the house, then all other Einhell tools can be purchased in the Solo version, i.e. without a battery. Not only does that save money and space, it also protects the environment. The Einhell battery family already comprises more than 300 cordless DIY and garden tools – and this figure will rise steadily to 450 by the end of 2027.
