The 18V 5-8Ah Multi-Ah PXC Plus battery for 1350W of battery power
The 18V 5-8Ah Multi-Ah PXC Plus battery is a new arrival in the range and, in short, is the high-end product in Einhell's Power X-Change platform. The innovative multi-Ah technology makes it quick and convenient to change the capacity from 5Ah to 8Ah at the press of a button. That means it can be operated as a 5Ah battery to give a total life at least three times longer, or as an 8Ah battery for maximum running time.
The Plus technology also offers extra power: The use of state-of-the-art cells in 21700 format and its ability to deliver up to 1350W means the battery is particularly suitable for demanding and power-intensive applications. From the processor-controlled Active Battery Management System through the latest cell technology to the efficient cooling of the design, all components of the battery have been developed to enable the maximum cordless freedom for all projects.
A display shows both the selected capacity and the current charge level in steps of one percent at all times. Additional convenience is provided by a practical trough handle on the underside of the battery, the Softgrip that ensures the battery is comfortable to hold, and integrated shock protection to protect it from damage caused by falls or collisions.
Intelligent storage and transportation of batteries
Einhell’s multi-Ah technology doesn’t just make it possible to select the capacity at the press of a button, it also offers intelligent solutions for the storage and transportation of batteries. If lithium-ion batteries have a rated energy of 100 Wh or more, they are subject to strict legal requirements on storage and transportation. Thanks to the patented multi-Ah technology, the Einhell battery in 5Ah form, i.e. outputting 90Wh, can be stored and transported under simplified regulations. This special feature also makes the 18V 5-8 Multi-Ah PXC Plus battery ideally suited for online retailers because it can be shipped in the standard way by parcel delivery companies.
